始於1949年《無法閱讀的書》（暫譯）系列，是莫那利最重要的書籍實驗之一，創作期橫跨了將近五十年，累積超過30種版本。他不斷測試在文字之外，書籍本身的規格、色彩、裁型等等物質特性，是否也可以傳達意義？此次展出的《 Libro illeggibile MN 1 》是1984年專為兒童設計的版本，適合小小的手來翻閱。

 

The Libri illeggibili series, which began in 1949 and continued with 30 versions over 50 years, is one of Munari’s most significant book experiments. Munari continuously explored how the physical attributes of a book—format, color, shape—could convey meaning beyond text. The Libro illeggibile MN 1 displayed in this exhibition was designed in 1984 specifically for children. Its size is perfect for small hands to turn and explore.
